Elder Lawrence Corbridge of the First Quorum on Seventy came to the Texas Lubbock Mission this weekend. We were spiritually fed as we studied his talk "The Fourth Missionary". We ALL want to become the Fourth Missionary!!

Summer of Sharing Fun Run

The Lubbock/Lubbock North Stakes combined to host a 5k run/mile walk to kickoff the Summer of Sharing events to benefit the South Plains Food Bank. Although the weather didn't cooperate, and the event was finally cancelled, the missionaries of the TLM serving in this area persevered and ran in spite of the wind and rain!

First ever Senior Couples Conference

Started with dinner at Zio's. 

Then we were privileged to have Brother and Sister Bray speak to us. 

The Assistants, Elder Richards and Elder Watson taught us the first lesson..and answered questions about all things missionary!

Completed the weekend with a temple session and a trip to the Silent Wings Museum. 

We absolutely love these couples and what they add to the mission!  We wouldn't want to do this without them! What a sacrifice they each make to be here!

May 2015 Zone Conferences

The sisters from the Spanish Branch in SanAngelo spoiled us with a feast for Cinco de Mayo!

The Lubbock/Lubbock North Zones were the recipients of Sister Glover's winning a barbequed lunch at a Silent Auction. 

Can't start the day with the Roswell bunch without a run!  It's tradition!! In Carlsbad for the first Zone Conference with the Roswell and (newly created) Ft Stockton Zones;)!

Last, but certainly not least, Amarillo/Panhandle Zones...once again, the sisters spoil us!
