4th of July 2015

Part of the Lubbock and Lubbock North Zones were able get together for a little 4th of July Celebration!  

Trying to tape down tablecloths in the wind is harder than you think!!

We began with hot dogs and watermelon. 

The TLM Olympic Parade and team divisions:

Elder Thomas bobbing for broccoli (yes, broccoli!!)

Grant helping Grandpa (aka President Heap) fill up water balloons:)!

The Mexican Border

So, we decided we needed to see all places in the TLM--even the Ft Stockton District, all the way to the Mexican border. We took the Assistants in the mission van and headed south on their P-Day. 

First stop: Marfa, Texas. 

Presidio: as far south as you can get without going over!

On to Ft Davis...for Elder Richards to reconnect with the 'coffee guys'!

Who knew Texas had rocks this big!!
